HISTORY AND TEAM
At Bodega Borràs we wanted to create a space where Mediterranean, locally sourced cuisine meets a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Every detail has been carefully designed: the marble bar, barrels and classic elements blend with modern touches to create a comfortable and inviting space. Our goal has always been to offer traditional dishes with attentive and professional service.
We are two brothers from Barcelona, Roger and Adrià. Before opening Bodega Borràs, we worked in various gastronomic projects, which taught us restaurant management, customer service and quality cooking. Our mother, Maribel, also inspired us and passed on her experience in hospitality.
The kitchen is led by chef Álex, originally from Ecuador and with many years of experience in Catalonia. His style combines modern techniques with traditional recipes, using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients.
Our entire team shares the same philosophy: close service, attention to detail and a passion for hospitality. We want every guest to enjoy not only the food, but the full experience — the atmosphere, the service and the dishes to share. Thanks to this vision, Bodega Borràs has become a reference in Barcelona for tapas and Mediterranean cuisine, appreciated by both critics and loyal customers.
FOOD MENU
At Bodega Borràs everything is designed for sharing. Starters and tapas are simple but flavourful, while cured meats and cheeses add depth and a link to tradition. The Josper grill is the heart of our kitchen, offering meat and fish cooked over direct fire to highlight the quality of the product without unnecessary additions.
Our rice dishes and main courses follow classic recipes prepared with care and recognisable flavours. This approach reflects our philosophy: honest cooking, no artifices, and respect for each ingredient.
Desserts, whether traditional or reinterpreted, aim to bring flavour and identity without excess. We want every meal to end naturally and consistently with the experience.
The menu evolves each season according to the best fresh ingredients available. Even so, we always keep our culinary philosophy intact. It is a menu that speaks about who we are, the cuisine we believe in and how we want guests to enjoy Bodega Borràs.
WINE LIST
Our wine list is rooted in respect for the land and the desire to showcase the richness of Catalonia. We offer more than 80 carefully selected references that reflect the character and diversity of Catalan vineyards. Our selection includes sparkling wines, ancestral wines, aromatic whites, fresh rosés and expressive reds, all chosen for authenticity and quality.
Each wine expresses its origin: some whites are fresh and aromatic, while others show complexity and ageing. Likewise, some reds are light and fruity, while others are intense and structured, shaped by the soil and climate of each vineyard. We also add unique varieties from lesser-known areas, as well as a small selection of Spanish wines and French Champagne to complete the experience without losing our Catalan identity.
Every wine is designed to pair with our Mediterranean cuisine, helping guests discover the diversity and authenticity of Catalan wines. In this way, our wine list connects with our philosophy of proximity, territory and respect for the product.
